II. Main Applications

Organic solvent required in the production processes of resins, coatings, inks, paints, adhesives, and leather; foaming agent for polyurethane foam; thinner, etc.

1. Miscible with most organic solvents;

2. Possesses broad solubility, capable of dissolving acrylics, vinyls, nitrocellulose, epoxies, polyurethanes, polyesters, phenolic resins, etc.;

3. Compared to acetone, it has a higher flash point and better anti-blushing properties, making it more suitable for coating and paint formulations and user requirements;

4. Can replace ethyl acetate, acetone, and butanone in formulations requiring low-boiling-point volatile organic solvents;

5. In polyurethane footwear materials, it can replace cyclopentane, chlorofluorocarbons, etc., as an environmentally friendly foaming agent.
